Sometimes you may see something you like on a Web page which you may want to read later, you can save the document or graphic to your hard disk. Later, you can open the saved file and read it without connecting to the Internet. The steps below tell you how to save text and graphics from the Web while browsing.

To save a text or source file:

  1. On the toolbar, click File, and then Save As.
  2. Go to the folder where you want to save the file.
  3. Click Save to save the file.
To save a graphic:
  1. Right-click on the picture.
  2. On the shortcut menu that appears, click Save As Image.
  3. Go to the folder where you would like to save the file.
  4. Click Save to save the file.

To open a saved file, just double-click it from the folder where you've saved it. The default Browser will start automatically, and your saved file will appear in the browser window.
