* Incremental tariff
in slabs of 20 hours at the rate of Rs.25 per hour will be permitted beyond 500 hours.
** Students will be given 100 hrs concessional
TCP/IP account per year. All renewals will be at normal rate.
Eligibity for getting VSNL student Internet A/c
are:
1. The student must be of X1th standard and above.
The age should be below 30 years.
2. He /She should provide bonafide certificate on
the college letter head showing mentioning
that
he/she is a full time regular student for the current academic year.
3. Student must submit Xerox of its i-card and must
show the original i-card for verification.
4. The payment of RS.1050/- by
D.D/PAYORDER/BANKER'S CHEQUE in favour of VSNL.
5. Student must submit the filled up application
with the above documents personally in any working days
between
10 a.m to 5 p.m (i.e. MONDAY to FRIDAY) at
Lokmanya Videsh Sanchar Bhavan , Prabhadevi,
for
Mumbai and at respective Customer Relations section in other cities.

should be non-earning bonafide student of class XI and above and below 30 years of age. |

VSNL provided Custmer Subscriber Units. (i) Rs
1,00,000 in case of DOT/MTNL Local Loops (ii) Rs 3,00,000 in case
of 64 Kbps VSNL Radio Link. For speeds higher
than 64 Kbps, the
actual cost of Radio Link plua Rs
1,00,000/- will be charged. |

3. DISCOUNTS (i)

minimum period of hire of the leased connections will be governed by the `Minimum
period of hire’ criterion of DOT for the leased circuits. |

5. PARTY
LINE SERVICE Party
line service is available at speed of 64 Kbps and 128 Kbps only with a rebate of 50% of
normal tariff on case by case basis for STPs & other organizations where multiple
customers are available on shared media. |

Customers/ISPs should provide the following information at the time of submission of application form for connectivity to enable access their IP address requirements:
1. Network Topology
2. POP Design
3. IP Addressing (unnumbered IP address should be used in a pool, only PPP dial up protocol is supported. SLIP protocol will not be supported).
4. IP Address requirement projections (preset requirement, after three months, after six months and after one year).
The allocation of IP address will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. IP address allocation will be as per policy of APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Center, Australia) for IP address allocation.
2. VSNL encourages ISPs to get the IP addresses directly from APNIC by becoming member of APNIC.
3. Routing policy for ISPs will be as per details provided in ISP booklet.
4. Customer /ISPs should give following undertaking, i.e. :
a) Customer /ISPs understands that IP addresses allocated via VSNL/through VSNL are non portable.
b) Customer/ISP understands that he cannot in turn allocate IP addresses to other smaller ISPs or customers.
c) Customer /ISPs understands that IP addresses to be allocated by VSNL are subject to availability of IP addresses with VSNL.
Customer/ISPs understands that they need to return IP addresses allocated by VSNL after
expiry of contract with VSNL.
